輪行（？）でひなまつり ― 2012/02/13 20:52
もう先々週のハナシになってしまいましたが、2/4から真壁町で毎年恒例のひなまつりが開催されるということで、いつものように友人KTを誘って行ってみることに。
せっかくなので、クロスとマウンテンで関東鉄道でおこなっているサイクルトレインで行こうということになりました。
これは関東鉄道常総線の水海道～大田郷と龍ヶ崎線の全線で9:30～14:30の間なら一人1台まで無料で車内に自転車を持ち込むことが出来るというサービスです。
勝手が分からないので、とりあえず駅員さんのいる有人駅から行こうということで下妻駅へ。
駅員さんに自転車を乗せたい旨を告げると、ホームへどうぞと案内され、車体を固定するベルトを貸してくれました。

いよいよ列車が到着し、一番後ろのドアから車内に自転車を乗せます。
車輌の後部は椅子がないスペースがあり、その周辺の手摺に自転車を固定して下さいとの事。
駅員さんの指示に従いベルトで固定してやりました。
他の乗客からは物珍しそうに見られてしまいました。
15分ほどで利用可能区間の大田郷駅に到着。
固定ベルトと切符を運転手さんに渡して下車。
なかなか楽しい体験でした。
終点の下館駅まで行けば10:37発の真岡鉄道のSLが見られたのですが、今回はパスしてそのまま真壁方面へと走り出しました。
真壁町に入る手前の田んぼでは野焼きが行なわれていて、至るところで煙と炎が上がっていました。
春はもうすぐそこですね。
さて、真壁町に到着すると結構な人出で賑わっています。
小腹が空いたので、美味い物マップに載っていたコロッケとあんドーナツを食べようということになりました。
まずは宮本精肉店さん。
以前｢ちい散歩｣という俳優の地井武男さんの番組で取り上げられて人気なのだそうです。
なるほど店の前には結構な行列が出来ていますね。
揚げたてのコロッケは1個50円。
一口かじってみるとこりゃあ美味い。
ソースを付けなくても甘さとしょっぱさの絶妙な味が楽しめます。
和菓子屋さんですが、あんドーナツが人気だそうで、一個60円で早速購入。
あんドーナツというと、普通は回りに砂糖がまぶしてあったりしますが、こちらは油で揚げただけのシンプルなもの。
甘過ぎず何とも懐かしい味がしました。
こちらは桜川市真壁伝承館に展示されていた大きさが50センチ程もあろうかという大きなお内裏様とお雛様。
キレイですね。
という感じで真壁のひなまつり、主に味覚の方で楽しんできました。
雛人形を飾っている場所が199箇所もあるそうで、全部回ると一日では足りないくらいですね。
3月3日まで行なわれているそうですので、足を運んでみてはいかがでしょうか。
さて、今回の輪行、まぁそのまま乗せただけなので輪行と言えるかどうか微妙な所ですが、すでに輪行袋を購入してあるので、今度は本当の意味での輪行をしてみたいと思っております。
