さて、フランス出張も無事に終わり、時差ボケも収まってまいりました。
今回インフルエンザに感染してしまったので、後追いで2人での飛行機～ＴＧＶでの移動となり到着できるのかと緊張しましたが、何とか無事に辿り着くことができました。
その飛行機の座席は会社側で確保していただいたので、今回はプレミアムエコノミーというクラスで行くことになっていました。
｢エコノミーより広いし、これなら12時間ゆったりと行けるな｣
と安心して空港に向かいましたが、カウンターで搭乗手続きをすると、
｢今回は座席の都合でエグゼクティブクラスをご用意させていただきました。｣
と何ともびっくりするお言葉をいただきました。
しかしスゴイですね、エグゼクティブクラス。
成田空港のラウンジの使用、優先搭乗、ゆったりとしたシート、豪華な食事や飲み物、大きな画面のモニターやノイズキャンセリングヘッドホン、その他諸々のサービスで何だかすっかりいい気分に。
流石にエコノミーの約1.5倍の料金だけのことはあるなと感心してしまいました。
まぁ自分ではこんな料金出せませんから、せっかくのチャンスを目一杯堪能させていただきました。
フランスでの業務を終えていよいよ帰国の途に付きますが、帰りは普通のエコノミークラス。
ギュウギュウに詰め込まれて食事もトレイで出され、行きのエグゼクティブと較べると何だかブロイラーにでもなった気分。
強制的にブラインドを下ろされ照明を落とされた機内で、窮屈なシートで眠れずに仕方なく映画なんかを観ていると、CAさんが
｢今窓の外にオーロラが見えますよ｣
と教えてくれました。
後部のトイレの所にある窓から外を見てみると、夜空にうっすらと白い帯のようなものが見えました。
テレビでよく見るようなあんなにクッキリとは分かりませんでしたが、珍しい現象をみることができラッキーだったなぁと。
次回はフランスで買ってきたモノをお見せしようかと思っております。
