4月になりましたが、なかなか暖かくなりませんね。
先週末は友人KTとりんりんロードを土浦方面へ。
土浦駅周辺の霞ヶ浦湖畔まで来ると、何やら古いボンネットバスが走っています。
土浦桜まつりの期間中に2台のボンネットバスで市内の桜の名所を巡るサービスなんだそうです。
土浦駅に戻り待っていると、ブリキのおもちゃのようなバスがやってきました。
さっき見かけたのは桃色のカラーリングでしたが、こちらは白と緑色に塗り分けられた三重交通のものです。
分割されたフロントウィンドウやリベットがレトロな雰囲気で素敵です。

上高津貝塚ふるさと歴史の広場という看板を見掛けたので寄ってみようということになりました。
公式HPによると
｢上高津貝塚は今から約4,000年～3,000年前の縄文時代後・晩期の遺跡で、当時入り江だった霞ヶ浦から得られた豊富な魚貝類や塩、周辺の動植物などを取って生活していたムラのあとです。｣
とのことです。
丘の中腹に何やら建物があります。
中は貝層断面展示施設になっていて、
｢発掘調査時の断面に特殊な薬剤をつけて貝層の土層を剥ぎ取ったものを、立体的に再生展示しています。表面に見える貝や土器は縄文時代のものです。 ｣
ということだそうです。
広場には竪穴式住居が再現されています。
小学生の頃、家の近くの切り通しで土器や貝殻を掘ったことが思い出され、なかなか楽しく過ごせました。
自転車は｢面白そうだから寄ってみよう｣とか｢ちょっとこっちの道を通ってみよう｣とか小回りが利くのがいいですよね。
さて、帰宅してサイコンを見てみると3987キロの表示が。
次回で4000キロ達成ですね。
そして今週はりんりんロードで北条周辺をブラブラと。
この辺りのソメイヨシノはほぼ満開ですね。
北条のあたりはまだ3分咲きといったところでしょうか。
満開になれば桜のトンネルといった風情でキレイでしょうね。
来週末あたりが見頃（走り頃？）かな。
本日ビアンキの走行距離が4000キロに到達しました。
3000キロは去年の10月10日だったので、約半年での達成です。
2000キロから3000キロは約3ヶ月で走破したので、倍のペースになってしましました。
冬は日が短いのと寒さが厳しいのでつい乗るのが億劫になってしまいがちですね。
仕事の出張で大分やフランスに行っていた事も影響していますね。
これから暖かくなり陽も伸びてきますので、次の1000キロはまた3ヶ月で達成したいです。
