今週も友人KTと共にサイクリングへ。
今回はりんりんロードを土浦方面へ行ってみることにしました。
今まで岩瀬方面は何度も行ったのですが、何故か土浦方面は行ったことがなかったんですよね。

もう長距離にも体が慣れてきたのか、あっという間に土浦駅まで到着。
霞ヶ浦湖畔まで出てみると、高速観光艇が停泊していました。
よく見ると何とスリーポインテッドスターとともにM・BENZの文字が。
本当にメルセデス製なのかな。

（ちょっと調べたら、常陽観光株式会社が運営する｢ジェットホイルつくば号｣というメルセデスの新開発高速強力エンジンを日本に初めて持ち込み建造された未来型超高速船なんだそうです。
出力は１２００ｐｓでインタークーラーツインターボ仕様だとか。スゴイなぁ）
さて、そこから桜川の土手へ。
桜川という名前の通り、両岸には何本もの桜が植えられています。
やはり先週半ばが見頃だったようで、今日はハラハラと散る花びらがきれいでした。

さて、そこから桜川の土手へ。

霞ヶ浦を後にして、つくば市のさくら交通公園でD-51を見ることに。
カッコイイなぁ。
コクピットにも乗り込めたのですが、小さなお友達が占領していて運転席に座ることが出来ませんでした。
お父さんやお母さんのいる前で
｢ちょっとおじさんにも座らせてくれないかな｣
とは言えずにスゴスゴと退散。
次回は平日に来て思う存分座ってやる！（笑）
いつもは車で通り過ぎてしまうのですが、思い立って気軽に寄れるところが自転車の良い所ですよね。
そんな感じでまた筑波山方面へ向かいますが、サイコンを見ると走行距離は約80キロメートル。
今までの一日の最高走行距離が85キロメートルだったので、せっかくだから100キロ走ろうと小貝川の土手へ。
そして自宅へ到着した時点での走行距離が・・・

ついに一日の走行距離が100キロをオーバーしました。
スゴイや。
ほんの1年前までは、自転車で100キロなんて（いや、50キロですら）考えたことも無かったんですけどね。
そしてMONO-Qの積算距離は921キロメートル。
次回で1000キロ到達できるでしょう。

It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's hard to get that "perfect balance"
between superb usability and appearance. I must say you've done a superb job with this.
